CODE OF ETHICS

Participation in the DAO ecosystem is voluntary and governed by shared protocols, not forced ideology. We do not require agreement on belief — only agreement on conduct. You are free to think what you will, but your behavior must align with our rules if you choose to engage.

We recognize the inherent worth of every individual, while also affirming the right of communities to define eligibility and participation standards grounded in evidence, merit, and mission-specific integrity.

We show respect to all — but we do not abandon truth to avoid conflict. Respect means listening and engaging with good faith, not erasing essential distinctions or denying reality to appease anyone.

In a DAO, no one is above the code. Members are expected to uphold and enforce these principles through transparent governance, clear documentation, and structured community oversight. Violations will be addressed through fair, documented processes — not mob rule or favoritism.

We protect the confidentiality of members. Data must be handled with care, and personal information must never be collected, stored, or disclosed without clear consent and a valid purpose consistent with our mission.

DAO members are expected to build, not sabotage. We reject performative outrage, entitlement, or disruption for its own sake. Feedback is welcome when it’s honest, respectful, and solution-oriented.

We treat our shared infrastructure — whether a GitHub repo, a blockchain contract, or a reputation system — as public goods. Abuse, spam, or exploitation of these systems for personal gain undermines the entire ecosystem.

DAO projects strive to remain ideologically neutral in structure, enabling voluntary expression and self-organization. However, we reserve the right to enforce clear boundaries where harm, fraud, or systemic disruption is at risk.

We do not conflate peace with appeasement. To us, peace is the discipline of living and building responsibly with others — including those we may disagree with. It is earned through principled restraint, not silence in the face of chaos.
